Product informations

This is a complementary organic feed for dairy ruminants designed for self-feeding use. This pellet is designed not only to maintain food consistency and palatability, but also high digestibility and low in acid. For this purpose it is composed by the best quality alfalfa, which alone represents more than 50% of the formula and is responsible for the protein supply.
Corn and carobs are important as NFC (starch and sugar) contributors and together with alfalfa contribute to a higher pectin content.
Feedbacks from users confirm its success, which has also been adopted on small ruminants (sheep and goats), on which this feed is used during milking.

Instructions for use

Organic milking treat feed is ideal where farmers require is to distribute large amount of concentrate.
• On dairy cows can be supplied up to 3.5-4 kg/time, which is common in high production milking robot barns.
• On small ruminants can be used in high doses (500-700g) without facing ruminal pH reductions.
Organic milking treat feed is also suitable as feed base to mix cereals with, a frequent practice on sheep and goats: it is suggested not to add cereals over 30% and to reduce the maximum quantity of each single dose by at least 30%, possibly increasing the number of administrations over 24 hours.
For different uses other than those mentioned above, it is advisable to follow the guidance of a trusted technician.
