Unifeed sheep and goats Growth Phase is a single feed for all species of young ruminants from the post-weaning stage onwards.
For sheep and goats, it can be used until just before the first birth.
It can be a valuable feed base to complement grazing or other on-farm feeds. The majority of ingredients are forages, alfalfa in various forms and grass hay. Carli Unifeed growth phase, is formulated to ensure optimum nutritional contribution due to the high quality of the forages used in its composition. The forages also provide the structured fibre base necessary to stimulate rumen motility and promote rumen morphological and functional enhancement.
Instructions for use
On very young animals, particularly kids and lambs, it is advisable initially to break up the parts.
Then make the quarters available without altering their structure: this will limit the animals’ natural tendency to select the components, making ration intake more regular.
If pasture is available, make the product available in the same way during housing: the animals themselves will self-regulate the ingestion.
In ad libitum feeding, the voluntary daily intake can be as high as 1.5 kg in small ruminants:
- Small ruminants to 1.0-1.2 kg.
