Unifeed Growth is a feed suitable for the nutrition of cattle, heifers, and calves, from weaning up to 120 days.
About 40% of the ingredients consist of long-fiber forages: alfalfa in various forms and selected grass hays, which together provide a structured fiber base highly effective in promoting rumen motility, further supported by a portion of excellent-quality straw.
It can be used up to 120 days after weaning as a complete feed, and, where conditions allow, it may also serve as a valid nutritional base for later stages, supplemented with other farm feeds to complete the ration. It is characterized by an adequate protein supply and a relatively low starch content, in order to avoid undesirable fat accumulation, particularly as puberty approaches.
Instructions for use
Unifeed Calf Growth can be used as a single-feed ration, left freely available to the animals during the phase from weaning up to 120 days of age. It is recommended to administer the product without completely breaking down the compact portions, in order to limit the natural tendency of the animals to select components, thus ensuring that ration intake remains uniform over the course of 24 hours. It may be given ad libitum but, especially in the more advanced stages of growth, at the discretion of the farm technician, it can be combined with coarser hays or with good-quality straw.
Voluntary daily intake is usually between 2 and 3 kg, depending on the development of the animals and the amount of other fibers made available to them. If the product is intended to be used in different ways, it is always advisable to operate under the guidance of a qualified technician, to whom we will provide the necessary technical details for optimal use.
The product is available in both dry and moist versions.
